Everything you need to know about the Triangle Yoga Fest 2025

What is the Triangle Yoga Fest:

The Triangle Yoga Festival will be Apex’s first-ever yoga festival.

This is a collaborative effort with FACTS for Youth, Lucky Elephant Yoga and Wellness LLC, and of course us (Peak Fit Events).

Our number one goal for the Triangle Yoga Festival is making yoga accessible to all and combating misconceptions about yoga.

Common misconceptions about yoga are it is intimidating, only for certain people, and people with certain religious beliefs should not practice yoga.

These misconceptions are far away from the truth. Yoga is a philosophy that can be practiced by anyone.

Yoga can be expensive

Yoga now more than ever is less expensive than it used to be. There are non-profits, community centers, online instructors, and yoga studios that make yoga accessible even if you are on a budget.

YouTube is great source for those who are looking for free classes, but sometimes people want a personal touch and need guidance especially for those who are beginners.

Currently, there is only one yoga studio in Apex, NC (Lucky Elephant Yoga and Wellness).

The population in Apex, NC is around and estimation of 75,000 residents. One would think that there would be more than one yoga studio and more ways to practice yoga in person.

So many people want to do yoga!

To get more practice and a diverse practice, you literally have to drive to Cary to get the Hot Yoga experience at Core Power Yoga, and then you have to drive to Raleigh or Durham to get the "cool, hipster, green juice yoga effect" (Dose Yoga+ Smoothie Bar and Midtown Yoga). And if you want to go to a yoga festival, there is one in Durham, The Bull City Yoga Festival, outside of Wake County.

"Why don't we have a yoga festival in Wake County, and make it in Apex?"

That is what Lisa (Town of Apex Event Manager), and Bridget asked me (owner of Lucky Elephant Yoga and Wellness).

Jasmine and I took that question to heart and decided If Peak Fit Events wants to continue shifting the culture of fitness, then a yoga festival is what we must do and we must do it right.

We Are All One Yoga

For many folks including adults, the world is distant and lonely. We are divided now more than ever; we are also closer to people online than we are in person.

Peak Fit Events is looking to change that by bringing people together and finding out what we have in common more than what we don't.

Yoga is the great unifier; this festival will be inclusive and open to all walks of life including those who have never done yoga before!

Our motto for our festival is We Are All One in Yoga.

The Triangle Yoga Festival is open to all body types, athletes, non-athletes, seniors, people with disabilities, children, adults, moms', people with trauma, dad's, families, single folks, and everyone in between.

We strive to build a community that will provide a space that makes room for everyone.
